"Just a Couple Girls
Making Pretty Things"
We are Dana Lance & Mandilyn Moore, and we have been best friends since 2001. Our friendship began out of our mutual love of good, homemade Southern food, and our love of art and design.
Early on, we collaborated to make jewelry. Then, we combined our artistic design with our love of Southern cuisine to create food art.

The South is rich in tradition, particularly when it comes to family and food.
Like most, we grew up attending birthday parties, bridal showers, and family reunions. As Southerners, the food, the rituals, the traditions...all of these influences formed how we learned about ourselves and others.
We love and respect those Southern traditions, but also recognize a need to re-energize these events. That's why we love to create unique event experiences for the most important moments in your life.

We're blessed to live in the North Georgia mountains, one of the most beautiful places on earth! The influence of the natural artistry around us, from floral and color palettes, to the love we have for our neighborly, smalll-town life, motivates us and impacts our creative design.
For example, we incorporate unique menu choices into the design element. This not only creates a customized culinary experience; it stretches your budget dollars and is eco-friendly!
Our influences include the music of Mr. Louis Armstrong, the radiating beauty of Lake Chatuge, and the red church hymnal.
In addition to our Southern roots, we are also modern women that admire traditions and culinary influences from across the world.

We begin the process with a complimentary consultation.
This is where we get to know each other and we gain a sense of your vision and preferences. Whether you want traditional Southern cuisine, or you're ready to kick it up a notch with international cuisine influences, we're here to help you figure out exactly what you want.
Then we begin to craft a food menu and design specific to your event. We strive to balance classic and elegant design with sustainable elements. It's important to us to be as practical and eco-friendly as possible, which also keeps your budget affordable.
For example, one of our favorite parts of menu design is when we can create edible food art that performs in terms of a beautiful presentation and delicious cuisine.
